i ain't got no money....

its to the tune of van halen i ain't got nobody, but much more truthful with i ain't got no money. i can easily run through 2,000 a day with supplies and whatnot. crazy! i am working my " " off with no results. i would like to work my ass off, but that is not happning either. every time i turn around, i see it! so, i am still booking in new jobs, finishing old and current ones, one day it will all catch up. i think i am still not charging enough, but i don't want to be unaffordable either. damn business decisions. what happened to the light at the end of the tunnel or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?

being affordable won't help your customers if it puts you out of business! maybe try raising prices just a bit and see how it goes...raise more if necessary?

if you ever have a spare moment (and, you know, want more sewing), do you think you'd be up to making academic regalia/graduation robes?

Yeah. you're really level-headed when you tell ME to charge enough money. We're not talking about ripping people off, Becks. We're talking about the COST OF GOODS going through the roof, and you still have to pay for mortgage, kids, the shop, etc.
Right?
AND you have to buy groceries, which, if you haven't noticed are way more expensive than a year ago!
That's what I have to keep reminding myself. It costs more to get the job done now than it did a year ago.
People know that. You just have to ask for it.
